TERRE D'HERMÈS
A stylistic exercise: recreate a Terre d'Hermès perfume ad entirely in AI. The purpose — explore and push the boundaries of new AI tools, specifically testing the realism of human character movement and horse locomotion within cinematic, narrative-driven environments.
Concept Note
Terre d'Hermès is a perfume about the earth, about territory, about masculine energy rooted in nature. The visual world of the campaign is built from mineral textures — silex, raw ochre earth — vast open landscapes, and the relationship between a man and a horse.
The central creative challenge was technical: current AI generators still struggle with natural movement. A human walking, a horse at full gallop, an animal breathing — these are among the hardest things to make convincing without artifacts. This film is, among other things, a documented attempt to push those limits.
Every shot has a purpose in the movement progression: from pure mineral abstraction (no motion), to subtle human presence, to the full-speed horse gallop, to the intimate close-up of a breathing animal. Nine shots. One coherent palette. One stylistic voice.
